Working principle of self-cleaning cartridge dust filter:

Filtration process:

Dust-containing gas inhalation: Dust-containing air is sucked into the self-cleaning cartridge dust filter under the action of a fan or other power device.

Preliminary separation: After entering the filter, due to the sudden expansion of the air flow section and the action of the air flow distribution plate, a part of the coarse particles in the air flow settle in the ash hopper or dust collection drawer and other parts under the action of gravity and inertia.

Fine filtration: Dust particles with fine particle size and low density enter the filter cartridge area with the air flow. The filter cartridge is usually made of special filter material, and its surface has many tiny pores, which can intercept dust. Through the combined effects of Brownian diffusion and sieving, dust gradually deposits on the outer surface of the filter cartridge, and the purified gas penetrates the inner wall of the filter material and enters the clean room.

Self-cleaning process:

Trigger condition: As the filtration continues, the dust layer on the outer surface of the filter cartridge continues to thicken, resulting in a gradual increase in filtration resistance. When the resistance reaches the set value (which can be set by differential pressure control, timing control or manual control), the self-cleaning system starts.

Back-blowing and dust cleaning: During the back-blowing process, high-pressure gas (usually compressed air) is instantly introduced into the filter cartridge. The high-pressure gas causes the filter cartridge to expand and deform to produce vibrations. Under the action of the reverse airflow, the dust attached to the outer surface of the filter cartridge is peeled off.

Dust discharge: The blown dust falls into the collection device (such as ash hopper, dust collection box, etc.) at the bottom of the dust collector, and then can be discharged regularly through the ash discharge valve and other devices to complete a self-cleaning process.
