Working principle of gas drainage filter
1. Principle of Water Removal
The moisture carried in coal gas is mainly removed through the principles of gravity settling, centrifugal force separation, and adsorption of filter media when passing through the filter. Under the special structural design inside the filter, when gas passes through, the moisture will gradually settle to the collection area at the bottom of the filter due to its own gravity. Meanwhile, during the rotational flow of the airflow, centrifugal force also causes water to move outward and separate. In addition, filter media such as filter screens and filter cartridges have an adsorption effect on small water droplets, further improving the efficiency of water removal.
