The following precautions should be taken during the use of the cartridge dust collector:
1. Installation
Installation location selection:
It should be selected in a well-ventilated and dry place, and avoid installation in a humid, high-temperature or corrosive gas environment to avoid affecting the performance and service life of the equipment.
Ensure that there is enough space for the installation, maintenance and repair of the equipment. The installation location should be easy for operators to access, and convenient for the replacement of the filter cartridge and the inspection of the dust cleaning system.
Connecting pipes:
The connecting pipes of the air inlet and outlet should be well sealed to avoid air leakage. The diameter of the pipe should match the inlet and outlet dimensions of the dust collector to ensure smooth flow of airflow.
The connecting pipes should minimize bending and resistance, and avoid too many elbows and diameter changes to avoid affecting the dust removal effect.
2. Operation
Pre-startup inspection:
Before starting the cartridge dust collector, carefully check whether the various components of the equipment are firmly installed, whether the filter cartridge is intact, and whether the dust cleaning system is working properly.
Check whether the electrical system is connected correctly and the grounding is good. Only start after ensuring that the equipment is in a safe and reliable state.
Operation parameter control:
According to the actual dust concentration and processing air volume, reasonably adjust the operating parameters of the dust collector, such as filtration wind speed, cleaning cycle, etc. Too high filtration wind speed may cause premature clogging of the filter cartridge and reduce the dust removal efficiency; too long cleaning cycle will cause too much dust accumulation on the filter cartridge and increase the resistance of the equipment.
Pay attention to the pressure difference change of the dust collector. When the pressure difference reaches a certain value, the cleaning operation should be carried out in time. Generally speaking, when the pressure difference is around 1000-1500Pa, cleaning is required.
Avoid overload operation:
Do not operate the dust collector at a rated processing air volume, otherwise it will cause the filtration wind speed to be too high, affect the dust removal effect, and even damage the filter cartridge.
For different types of dust, the appropriate dust collector model and specifications should be selected according to its characteristics and concentration to avoid overload operation of the equipment due to insufficient processing capacity.
3. Maintenance
Maintenance of filter cartridge:
Regularly check the wear of the filter cartridge and replace it in time if it is damaged. The service life of the filter cartridge is generally about 1-2 years, depending on factors such as the nature, concentration and use environment of the dust.
When there is too much dust accumulation on the surface of the filter cartridge, the dust removal operation should be carried out in time. Pulse spraying, backblowing and other methods can be used for dust removal to ensure the filtering performance of the filter cartridge.
When replacing the filter cartridge, the filter cartridge of the same model as the original should be selected to ensure that its filtering accuracy and size meet the equipment requirements.
Maintenance of the dust removal system:
Regularly check whether the solenoid valve, pulse valve, air bag and other components of the dust removal system are working properly. If there is a fault, it should be repaired or replaced in time.
Check whether the pressure of the compressed air is stable, which should generally be maintained at about 0.4-0.6MPa. If the pressure is too low, it will affect the dust removal effect; if the pressure is too high, the filter cartridge and equipment may be damaged.
Clean the accumulated water and impurities in the air bag and pipeline to prevent blockage from affecting the normal operation of the dust removal system.
Maintenance of the electrical system:
Regularly check whether the wiring of the electrical system is loose, and whether the contactor, relay and other components are working properly. If there is a problem, it should be repaired or replaced in time.
Perform regular maintenance on the motor, such as adding lubricating oil, checking bearings, etc., to ensure the normal operation of the motor.
Pay attention to moisture and dust prevention of the electrical system to avoid affecting the normal operation of the equipment due to electrical failure.
4. Safety
Fire and explosion prevention:
For flammable and explosive dust, appropriate fire and explosion prevention measures should be taken, such as installing explosion relief devices and using anti-static filter cartridges.
During the operation of the equipment, open flames and smoking are strictly prohibited to avoid causing dust explosions.
Personnel safety:
When performing equipment maintenance and overhaul, the power supply should be cut off first, and a warning sign of "No Closing" should be hung to ensure personnel safety.
Operators should wear necessary protective equipment, such as masks, gloves, safety helmets, etc., to avoid contact with dust and damage from equipment.
In short, the correct use and maintenance of the cartridge dust collector can improve the dust removal efficiency of the equipment, extend the service life of the equipment, and also ensure the safety and environmental protection of the production process.
