Matters needing attention during the design, installation and use of dust collectors in woodworking industry:

1.The waste in the silo of the woodworking workshop is prone to spontaneous combustion in the high temperature season for a long time. In the case of normal system performance, generally about 2% of the waste is deposited at the bottom of the conveying pipe, so the pipe, bag filter, silo and other parts should be checked and cleaned regularly.

2.The paint dust generated when sanding and painting products is flammable and explosive. Try to use the dust removal system alone, do not mix it with wood powder, and do special treatment to it.

3.Do not place cleaning cloths, tools, parts and other items next to the suction device, and educate workers not to use a vacuum tube to absorb dust from clothes or bodies, so as to prevent foreign objects from entering the pipeline or fan and causing an accident.

4. Since the dust removal system is mostly public equipment, generally speaking, the responsibility is not well implemented, and the inspection and monitoring are not in place, which is more prone to problems. Therefore, a special person must be responsible for opening and closing and running inspections.

5. Consider eliminating static electricity when designing. Due to the large dust concentration in the bag filter and the silo, when the dry waste is transported in the pipeline, more static electricity will be generated due to friction, and the discharge phenomenon will cause ignition and dust explosion.

6. If the outdoor bag filter exceeds the height of the building, lightning protection measures should also be considered.
