The quality and purity of aviation kerosene are required by aviation coal filters, and impurities and moisture will enter the aviation kerosene from refining to refilling in various stages, which will seriously threaten flight safety if effective pollution control is not carried out.

There are two kinds of aviation kerosene filters: pretreatment filter and agglomeration separation filter.

Pre-treatment filter is mostly used in the refinery finished product storage, transit oil storage, airport oil storage and other occasions where particle pollution is more serious. It is installed in front of the filter separator and used in series, which can effectively extend the life of the agglomerated filter element; when installed in front of the flow meter and control valve and used, it can effectively intercept the mechanical impurities of larger size and prevent them from mechanical damage.

The filter separator is the core unit of aviation kerosene purification, with the dual function of filtering impurities and removing water, removing tiny water droplets and impurities in the oil by means of filtration, agglomeration and separation to achieve the purification requirements of the oil.

Cartridge installation steps

1. Thoroughly clean the filter shell. Connect the inlet and outlet of the housing with the pipeline of the filtration system, pay attention to the direction when connecting, and connect according to the pipeline indication connector.

2. Open the open end of the cartridge and check whether the gasket is intact. Insert the cartridge completely into the cartridge holder socket vertically from the screw.

3. After inserting all the cartridges, snap on the pressure plate to fix them again, then install the upper head and open the bleed valve at the top of the housing. Slightly open the inlet valve to make the liquid enter the housing until the liquid overflows from the bleeder valve at the top of the housing, then close the bleeder valve and slowly adjust to open the downstream outlet valve until it is completely opened.
