Manganese sand filter treatment method

Manganese sand filter technical requirements
The natural manganese sand used for iron and manganese removal in groundwater should be mainly in the form of manganese oxide. Natural manganese sand filter media with manganese content (MnO2) not less than 35% can be used for removing iron and manganese from groundwater; natural manganese sand filter media with manganese content of 20%-30% is only suitable for removing iron from groundwater; manganese ore sand with manganese content less than 20% is not suitable; natural manganese sand varieties that have been scientifically tested or used in production and proved to have good effect of removing iron and manganese are preferred As filter media.
