Its unique fiber fluffy technology makes the filtration medium thicker, larger porosity, can effectively slow down the pollutants on the surface of the filter element, guide the pollutants are intercepted by the deep pores of the filter material, so as to ensure the use of the filter media to achieve the best performance.

The interception efficiency of 3M large flow series HFM filter material in the initial stage of the test of FM filter material is similar to that of ordinary large flow filter material, but compared with ordinary large flow filter material, it can intercept up to 5 times the pollutants (by weight), and the water yield is more than twice that of ordinary large flow filter material. External pressure type / internal pressure type structure design

At present, the common large flow filter element is divided into "external pressure" and "internal pressure" two structures. The so-called external pressure filter flow direction from the outside of the filter to the center; internal pressure is opposite.3M introduced the new HFM filter material into the filter elements of external pressure type and internal pressure type respectively, and obtained the 3 M HFM external pressure large flow filter element and HFR internal pressure large flow filter element. The filter element of the two structures each has its own design characteristics.

HFM external pressure large flow filter: cost reduction and efficiency

The 3M external pressure filter element adopts the horizontal pleated design, which integrates as many filter materials as possible into a single filter element to maximize the filter area. Compared with the traditional 40 "long and 2.5" diameter melt-blown filter elements, the number of filter elements is significantly reduced under the same water treatment amount. In this way, it can not only reduce the initial input cost of the filter cylinder cost, but also reduce the labor cost of replacing the filter element and the solid waste disposal cost, so as to reduce the comprehensive filtration cost to the minimum.

The new generation of 3 MHFM external pressure large flow filter element using the new filter material is more suitable for use in the environment of high organic matter and microbial pollution. Under the same working conditions, it can intercept more pollutants, thus extending the service life of the filter element.

Field testing on the client proved the super long online life of HFM filter element. The online life of HFM filter element is more than three times that of the comparison filter element. HFR internal pressure large flow filter: large pollution, long service life

Although the 3M internal pressure filter element adopts the traditional vertical folding design, APT (Advanced Pleat Technology) technology is introduced into the filter element folding process in order to increase the effective filter area. Many people think that when pleated, the more folds, the larger the filter material area, the more the filter element will be. In fact, there is a mistake: using the traditional vertical folding method, when the fold increase, the filter material near the circle inside the filter element will squeeze together, resulting in this part of the filter material is too dense, the fluid is difficult to pass, the pressure drop increases, the filter material is tightly pressed together, so that the area pollution capacity is limited. When 3M APT technology is adopted, it makes full use of the loose space of the outer circle, and some short folds with different radii are inserted to prevent the filter material from pressing near the circle inside the filter element and increase the effective filtration area. Therefore, it is not the larger the filter material area, the better, but the larger the "effective" filtration area, the higher the amount of pollution, the better the filtration effect.

The 3 M HFR internal pressure large flow filter element with new filter material, similar to HFM external pressure filter element, also has the characteristics of large sewage volume and long service life.

Field tests have proved that the HFR filter element has a longer life and provides a better protection of the downstream RO. With the same raw water quality, the online life of the HFR filter element is 1.8 times that of the comparison filter element.

The main function of the RO security filter is to ensure the normal operation of the downstream RO system, so the change of the pressure difference of the RO system can also explain the advantages and disadvantages of the security filter element. The HFR filter element more guarantees the normal operation of RO.
