1. Record the new base value for the traffic drop
When the filter element is in use, record the initial flow Q0 (L/min).
After the filter element is used for a period of time (1~3 months), then record the filter element flow value Q1.
Use Q1 as the new benchmark flow rate.
Calculate the flow drop value Q = Q0-Q1.
Evaluate the flow drop according to Q, and set a reasonable flow decrease according to the filter element characteristics.
When the flow rate of the filter element drops beyond the new base value (Q1 + set value), there is a problem with the filter element.
2. Record the new base value for the pressure drop rise
When the cartridge is started, record the initial pressure P0 (psi).
After using the filter element for 1 to 3 months, record the filter element pressure P1 again.
Using P1 as the new benchmark pressure.
P = P1-P0.
Evaluation of the pressure drop amplitude according to the pressure drop P, and set a reasonable pressure drop upper limit according to the filter element characteristics.
When the pressure drop of the filter element exceeds the new base value (P1 + set value), there is a problem with the filter element.
3. Flow curves and pressure drop curves were recorded
Curve the data of flow and pressure as time and flow or pressure as the ordinate.
The status and life of the filter element were assessed by curve visualization analysis.
Normally, the flow curve is characterized by slow decline; the pressure drop curve is characterized by slow rise.
When the curve deviates from this pattern, it indicates a filter element problem.
In summary, the new base value and curve of the large flow filter element are recorded mainly according to the flow drop value, pressure drop appreciation and flow pressure drop curve. Based on the data and curve, it can evaluate the running condition of the filter element more effectively, capture the problem signal, and take corresponding measures in time.
