The installation must be stable and in a suitable environment. Check the electrical, pipeline and oil quality before operation. Monitor parameters during operation to prevent idling and overloading. Clean and maintain regularly. Pay attention to safety against scalding, electric shock, fire and explosion, and operate and maintain in strict accordance with the regulations.

1. Installation environment

Site requirements

The oil filter should be installed on a flat and solid ground to ensure that the equipment is placed stably. Avoid installing it in places with obvious tilt or large vibration, because tilt may cause uneven oil flow, affecting the filtering and dehydration effects, and strong vibration may damage the precision parts inside the equipment, such as vacuum pumps, oil pumps and various sensors.

The area around the installation site should be kept clean to avoid excessive dust, debris and corrosive gases. Dust and debris may enter the equipment, block the filter or affect the normal operation of electrical components; corrosive gases may corrode the metal parts of the equipment and shorten the service life of the equipment.

Space requirements

Ensure that there is enough space around the equipment for operation, maintenance and repair. Generally speaking, at least 1-1.5 meters of space should be reserved in front, behind, left and right of the equipment. This makes it convenient for operators to start and stop the equipment, check various instruments and valves, and disassemble and repair the equipment when necessary. At the same time, sufficient space is also conducive to the heat dissipation of the equipment to prevent the equipment from malfunctioning due to overheating.

Considering the connection of the oil inlet and outlet pipelines of the equipment, as well as the exhaust of the vacuum pump, the installation location should be close to the oil source and oil-using equipment, and ensure that the exhaust pipeline can smoothly discharge the gas discharged by the vacuum pump to the outdoors or a safe area to avoid forming a harmful vacuum environment indoors or polluting the workplace.

2. Inspection before operation

Electrical system inspection

Before starting the oil filter, carefully check the electrical system. Check whether the power cord of the equipment is connected correctly and firmly, and whether there is any damage or leakage. At the same time, check whether each electrical component, such as switches, relays, contactors, fuses, etc., is working properly and whether the instrument display is accurate. If the electrical components are found to be damaged or the instrument display is abnormal, they should be replaced or repaired in time to avoid electrical failures during operation and even safety accidents.

Confirm whether the grounding of the equipment is good. Good grounding is an important measure to ensure the safe operation of the equipment. It can prevent the equipment from causing electric shock injuries to the operator due to leakage, and it can also reduce electrical interference to ensure the normal operation of the equipment.

Pipeline connection inspection

Check whether the connection between the oil inlet and outlet pipelines is tight and leak-free. You can preliminarily judge whether there is a leak by observing whether there is oil stain at the pipeline interface. If leakage is found, tighten the connecting nut or replace the sealing gasket in time to ensure the tightness of the pipeline connection.

Make sure that the valve of the oil inlet pipeline is in the correct position and can smoothly introduce the oil to be filtered into the oil filter. At the same time, the valve of the oil outlet pipeline should also be adjusted to ensure that the purified oil can flow in the predetermined direction and destination, such as flowing into the oil storage tank or directly transported to the oil-using equipment.

Preliminary inspection of oil quality

Before introducing the oil into the oil filter, it is best to conduct a preliminary inspection of the oil quality. The degree of oil contamination can be preliminarily judged by observing the color, transparency and smell of the oil. If the oil contains a large amount of impurities, moisture or is obviously deteriorating, some pretreatment measures such as precipitation and centrifugal separation may be required to avoid excessive and rapid clogging of the filter of the oil filter by these pollutants, affecting the normal operation of the oil filter.

3. Precautions during operation

Parameter monitoring

During the operation of the oil filter, pay close attention to the various operating parameters of the equipment. Including oil temperature, vacuum, flow, pressure, etc. The normal range of these parameters is usually clearly stated in the operating manual of the equipment. For example, the oil temperature should generally be controlled within an appropriate range. Too high an oil temperature may cause the oil to oxidize and deteriorate, while too low an oil temperature may affect the fluidity and dehydration effect of the oil.

Vacuum is an important indicator for measuring the dehydration effect of a vacuum oil filter. If the vacuum drops, it may be caused by a failure of the vacuum pump, a pipeline leak, or too much water in the oil. Flow and pressure parameters can also reflect the working status of the oil filter. If the flow rate suddenly decreases or the pressure rises abnormally, it may be that the filter is clogged or there is a problem with the oil pump. Operators should promptly detect problems and take corresponding measures based on the changes in these parameters.

Prevent idling

Ensure that the oil filter has sufficient oil supply during operation to avoid idling of the oil pump. Idling of the oil pump will increase the wear of the oil pump and even damage it. At the same time, idling may also cause local overheating inside the equipment, affecting the service life of the equipment. You can prevent the oil pump from idling by observing the oil level in the oil inlet pipeline or installing a low oil level alarm device.

Avoid overload operation

Do not let the oil filter be in an overloaded state for a long time. Although the ZLYC-50A vacuum oil filter has a certain working capacity, if it exceeds its design flow rate (50L/min) or the degree of oil pollution is far beyond expectations, it may cause various components of the equipment, such as vacuum pumps, oil pumps, filters, etc. to be overloaded, and the probability of failure will be greatly increased. When dealing with oil with a high degree of pollution, the flow rate can be appropriately reduced or multiple filtration methods can be adopted to reduce the working pressure of the equipment.

4. Maintenance and maintenance

Regular cleaning

Regular cleaning of the oil filter is an important measure to maintain the good performance of the equipment. The focus of cleaning is the external surface of the equipment, the filter housing and the pipeline. You can use a clean rag to wipe the oil and dust on the surface of the equipment. For the filter housing, you can use a brush to gently clean it. At the same time, pay attention to cleaning the heat sink of the equipment to ensure that it dissipates heat well.

For internal cleaning, it needs to be carried out under the guidance of professionals. Generally, the housing of the equipment can be opened regularly (such as after running for a certain period of time or processing a certain amount of oil) to clean the internal grease, impurities, etc. However, before opening the housing, be sure to cut off the power supply and ensure that the oil inside the equipment has been emptied to prevent electric shock and oil leakage accidents.

Filter maintenance

The filter is one of the core components of the oil filter machine and requires regular maintenance. According to the degree of oil pollution and the running time of the equipment, the filter element of the filter should be replaced regularly. When the pressure difference before and after the filter is found to be significantly increased or the filtering effect is significantly reduced, it is likely that the filter element is blocked and needs to be replaced in time.

When replacing the filter element, follow the requirements of the equipment operation manual. Generally, it is necessary to shut down the equipment first, release the pressure in the system, and then carefully remove the old filter element, install the new filter element, and ensure that the filter element is installed correctly and well sealed.

Vacuum pump maintenance

The vacuum pump is a key equipment for the vacuum oil filter to achieve vacuum dehydration. Check the oil level of the vacuum pump regularly to ensure that the oil level is within the normal range. If the oil level is too low, add special vacuum pump oil in time. At the same time, replace the vacuum pump oil regularly to ensure good lubrication and sealing performance of the vacuum pump.

Check whether the air inlet and exhaust port of the vacuum pump are unobstructed and whether there is any blockage. If there is any blockage of debris, it should be cleaned in time. In addition, the belt tension of the vacuum pump should be checked regularly to see if it is appropriate and how the belt is worn, and adjust or replace it if necessary.

5. Safety precautions

Prevent scalding

During the operation of the oil filter, the oil temperature may rise, especially when the heating system is working. Operators should pay attention to prevent scalding when touching the pipes, oil tanks and other parts of the equipment. Protective gloves can be worn to avoid touching high-temperature parts directly with hands. At the same time, set up warning signs around the equipment to remind other personnel to pay attention to high temperature hazards.

Prevent electric shock

Since the oil filter is an electrical device, be sure to prevent electric shock during operation and maintenance. When cleaning the equipment, checking electrical components or performing repairs, you must first cut off the power supply and ensure that the equipment is completely powered off. Do not perform any operations that may contact the electrical parts when the equipment is energized.

Fire and explosion prevention

Oil is a flammable substance. Pay attention to fire and explosion prevention during the operation of the oil filter. Fireworks should be strictly prohibited around the equipment, and any operations that may produce sparks should be avoided. At the same time, ensure that the equipment is well grounded to prevent static electricity accumulation from causing fire or explosion. If oil leakage is found in the equipment, stop operation immediately, clean up the leaked oil, and take appropriate safety measures.
